The mobile transformer project entails using the Dapper transformer infrastructure
to create a mobile-compatible version of any website. We've already
built some of this transformer, so this is a relatively easy one. We'll give you
the source code as it exists today for you to complete. Here are the
minimum requirements for this project:
- Complete the existing mobile transformer such that it handles all types of Dapps smoothly.
- Improve the visual aesthetics of the mobile transformer.
- Must work (well) with most modern handsets (Nokia, Blackberry, etc.)
- Complete
a "configuration interface." The configuration interface is a
web-based GUI for choosing the settings from the relevant Dapp and
applying them to the mobile transformation of that Dapp's XML. An example of a configuratation interface is the following one for Google Gadgets:
http://www.dapper.net/brands/googleg...NSearchResults
- Should have a very slick web-UI for both the transformer output and the configuration interface.
If you want to do this one, just contact us and we'll give you the source code and get you started.
