Mobile Craigslist mashup

Craigslist is a great website for local classifieds.  This project entails building Dapps for the various parts of the Craigslist website and using them to create a version of Craigslist that works well on mobile telephones.  This mashup should be stellar!  Requirements:

  • Use Dapps, not Craigslist RSS feeds
  • Work on all of Craigslist's supported cities
  • Incorporate maps where relevant
  • Work on most modern handsets (or, if you prefer, only on iPhones)
You are free to implement it in any programming language you like.  We'll be happy to provide hosting for you.

Can someone explain what Dapps are? I am in progress of creating a mobile craigslist site that will be similar to my http://cl.pixelspotlight.com/ but work on a mobile phone (iPhone in particular).... but it uses RSS feeds....I'm very curious to what Dapps are? Thanks!
